This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use or inquire about the Virtual Reality Services and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Virtual Reality Services refers to the Heroes Together VR application and digital materials (website, social media) used to facilitate it.
Application refers specifically to the Heroes Together VR application as experienced on virtual reality headsets.

It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Virtual Reality Services, to provide the Virtual Reality Services on behalf of the Company, to perform Services related to the Virtual Reality Services, or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Virtual Reality Services are used.
Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Virtual Reality Services or from the Virtual Reality Services infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

You means the individual accessing or using the Virtual Reality Services, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Virtual Reality Services, as applicable.

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Virtual Reality Services.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Virtual Reality Services that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Virtual Reality Services by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device’s unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Virtual Reality Services or when You access the Virtual Reality Services by or through a mobile device on Our website.

Application Usage Data

Some usage data is specifically collected through use of the Application. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify or contact you personally. This data may include gameplay data such as but not limited to:

Player class selections
Progression and success or failure through levels
Time played per session
Error and other diagnostic data

This data is used to improve the game experience by adjusting balance and difficulty, fixing technical issues, and understanding large-scale game engagement.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Virtual Reality Services and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Virtual Reality Services. The technologies We use may include:

vrCAVE will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

vrCAVE will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Virtual Reality Services, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods. Residual anonymous Data and aggregate Data, neither of which identifies You (directly or indirectly), may be stored indefinitely.

Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You.

Our Virtual Reality Services may give You the ability to delete certain information about You from within the Virtual Reality Services.

You may update, amend, or delete Your information at any time by signing in to Your Account if you have one, and visiting the account settings section that allows you to manage Your personal information. You may also contact Us to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that You have provided to Us.

You may opt out of direct marketing communications or the profiling we carry out for marketing purposes, or may request permanent deletion of all personal data held by us, by writing to us at heroestogethervr@vrcave.ca. Do note that if You do not allow Us to collect or process the required Personal Data or withdraw the consent to process the same for the required purposes, You may not be able to access or use the services for which Your Personal Data was sought.
